API authentication

The Client API uses a bearer API token. Send it on every authenticated request in the Authorization header.

Credential handling​

  • Store secrets in a secret manager or the CI/CD platform's encrypted variables.
  • Grant only the permissions the integration needs.
  • Rotate credentials when an operator leaves or a secret may have been exposed.

The public specification does not document an endpoint to create or rotate tokens. Obtain credentials through the approved EdgeUno account process.
