List

Use this page when you want to list your buckets or inspect the objects inside one bucket.

Before you start​

Make sure your AWS CLI profile or rclone remote is already configured with the correct endpoint and credentials.

If you need to confirm the endpoint or region first, check Keys and endpoint.

List buckets with AWS CLI​

aws s3 ls \

List objects inside one bucket with AWS CLI​

aws s3 ls s3://$BUCKET_NAME \
--endpoint-url "$S3_ENDPOINT" \

List buckets with rclone​

rclone lsd ${RCLONE_REMOTE}:

List objects inside one bucket with rclone​

rclone ls ${RCLONE_REMOTE}:$BUCKET_NAME

When to use each command​

  • use the bucket list command when you want to confirm whether a bucket exists
  • use the object list command when you want to inspect the contents of one bucket

Portal and CLI views

The customer area shows a bucket list and usage summary, while AWS CLI and rclone are useful when you want to confirm the result directly from the command line.
