Overview

The Virtual Private Server service is used to host applications, development environments, internal services, and other workloads on a virtual machine dedicated to your use.

In the customer area, you can review VPS details, track usage, open a console session, manage backups, adjust firewall rules, and perform day-to-day operational tasks.

What you can find in the customer area​

  • subscribed plan details
  • hostname, primary IP, and additional IPs
  • hardware and usage details
  • power actions
  • console options
  • backups and reinstallation
  • firewall settings
  • usage graphs

Where to start​

  1. Go to the Customer Portal login page.
  2. If you are new to the customer area, Create a new account. If you already have an account, sign in.
  3. If you still need a VPS, place a new order in the customer area.
  4. Open My Products & Services.
  5. Select your VPS service.
  6. Start with Plan and access to confirm the machine size, IP addresses, hostname, and access details.

Common tasks​

Before making important changes​

Before changing a production VPS, make sure to check:

  • whether you have the correct access details
  • whether a recent backup is available
  • whether the action may cause downtime

Before disruptive changes

If you are planning a restart, stop, firewall change, or reinstallation, review the expected impact first and make sure you have a safe recovery path.

Support​

If you have an operational question or notice unexpected behavior in the customer area, open a ticket through Open Ticket and include as much context as possible about what you tried to do.
